March 16, 2010: P&F AGM Executive Committee elected
On Tuesday night we held the P & F AGM where the new executive committee was elected. Thank you to all who attended the night.

March 10, 2010: Mrs Brookhouse shaves for a cure
On Monday this week Mrs Marlo Brookhouse, Teacher’s Aide, Swimming Instructor and Parent at our school had her head shaved to raise money for the Leukemia Foundation this year. The total money raised from school was $444.70. Well done.

March 4, 2010: Successful sponsorship
It is with great excitement that I announce that we have been successful with receiving sponsorship from Bendigo Bank Acacia Ridge for the full purchase of ten new laptops and a laptop trolley to enable increased access to information technology education for Prep to Yr 7 students. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Bendigo Bank Acacia Ridge for this generous sponsorship and to the great work of Mrs Desley Armitage who is working with our school to write applications for sponsorship and funding.
February 25, 2010: 2010 Welcome BBQ
Last Friday we held our Welcome BBQ for all families and friends. We had a fantastic attendance. Thank you to all those who attended the night and for the assistance with packing things away after the event. Thank you to all the staff for the great work and support to ensure our BBQ last Friday night was a success.
January 28, 2010: Building Update
Over the Christmas holidays construction began at OLOF on the new covered area and basketball/netball courts and the new library. Significant progress has occurred and the project is currently running on time. The builders have an obligation to have both the library and covered area fully completed by the end of March. While the construction is occurring (particularly in respect to the library) the tuckshop will remain closed and non operational.
